Sekinchan 1 day Trip.

Hey.The very first post of my blog will be today's one day trip to Sekinchan  (适耕庄) with my family.

(You might find some better pictures on the internet, google or others blog.As you can see some of the padi  is not aligned and not greenish/gold.)

Sekinchan
is a small town located in Sabak BernamSelangorMalaysia. It is located along the coastal Federal Route 5.Apart from being a lively fishing village, Sekinchan is one of the major rice producing areas of Malaysia. The vast, well-irrigated and organized paddy fields around Sekinchan produce one of the highest yields of rice in the country.Sekinchan is often visited for its fresh seafood. It also draws diners from Kuala Lumpur and Ipoh. There are some rice millers in the area where locally produced rice can be purchased.

(That's the only picture i took at the Rice factory...)

Unfortunetly, i forgot to take any pictures of the rice factory(which is just located after these long path of padi fields. Here's the address of it : Lot 9990, Jalan Tali Air 5, Ban 2, 45400 Sekinchan, Selangor, Malaysia. It can be find easily with waze or other GPS system. In the factory, they do sell their products of course, rice. But the promoter told me that you can find their product in 'AEON BIG" and '99 Speed Mart'. I've never try the rice before though.. But i assume it will be nice as it is their main product and what make them famous of.Beside rice, they sell other stuff like Ginger tea, different flavour of ice cream, Rice made noodles, 3 in 1 coffee and lot more.

N
ext Stop.  '适耕庄南天宫九皇大帝'.  We never go in as we only check out the view of the padi field here. You can notice there's two tower in between the temple. I went up there, My advise is to becareful when you take the steps up there as the stair is slanting and high.

Pantai Redang (Redang Beach) is a hidden beach in Sekinchan, Redang beach is a hidden place that is worth a visit in Sekinchan, particularly if you are already tired of repeatedly shooting in paddy fields at Sekinchan. In fact, Redang Beach (Pantai Redang) is very near the seafood restaurants area at Bagan, so you may go to Redang Beach after a nice seafood meal. You can take an unbeaten track along the coastal line, away from the jetty, you may find a nice and secluded spot for birding, especially to look out for egrets, waders, and terns. It’s a also a good hunting ground for hermit crabs of reasonable size.
You plan your schedule to visit Redang Beach (Pantai Redang) about 7.00 pm, you may see a beautiful Sunset at Redang Beach (Pantai Redang).

I really love this place, you should definitely come to visit Pulau Redang. They have alot of stall selling food and water. And it's really windy here.We sat here for like 2 and a half hour , ordered fried fish ball and baby fried baby octopus. It's really delicious! In the picture, There's a big tree with a lot of red cloth hanging on it. It's called "THE WISHING TREE" .Which you make a wish, and you throw the red cloth as high as you can to the tree, if it hangs on it, and your wish will come true, if it drops down? Life goes on, pick it up and throw it again until you do it right.

 (Carrying all the wishes...)

This is the beach view of Pulau Redang.I won't say it's a really decent beach compare to Langkawi, Pulau Redang. But here is a great place for family, friends and couple to chitchat  and chillax.
